The Witcher 3 was released in May, 2015. That is nearly four years of bliss. It's a superb game, and I easily rate it as one of the best I have ever played. Like all games, it has its issues, but what it does well is enough to keep me replaying it, over and over again. Sometimes, you want to mix things up a little bit though, and this is where mods come in.
In this article, I'll run through some of my preferred mods for the game, with a little bit of information as to why I like them so much.
Although Sony have somewhat dropped the ball with mod support on PS4 (only giving players 1GB of extra space and denying all external assets when creating them), it hasn't stopped players having a. You WILL need the XP32 Skeleton if you want to use this. We've found the best Skyrim mods you should download for Skyrim Special Edition which will fix NPCs, add new combat, and make travelling a lot easier. Here's how to install Skyrim mods on PS4.
The Best Mods For The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
Debug Console Enabler
A must-have mod, if you plan on messing around with mods at all. This will give you access to the Debug Console, where you can get up to all kinds of shenanigans, from spawning enemies to changing the weather.
Nexus Mod Manager
The Nexus is where all the mods live when we are not poking and prodding them. Nexus Mod Manager allows you to quickly and easily download and install mods. When using this it is important to keep a close eye on any information about conflicts and load orders. Lots of mods interact with each other, or even rely on each other. Read those information boxes carefully!
Photo Mode
Ansel is great and all, but if you are doing to be doing some odd things to your visuals, it won't always work that well. The problems is that for people who like to take screenshots, some of the injectables you use to alter how the game looks won't always translate well through Ansel. Photo Mode is a great way to take your screenshots, as it should interact much better with your visual changes.
The Witcher 3 HD Rework Project
Pretty much a one stop shop for people who want to give their game a graphical bump. The HD Rework Project wants to make everything look just a little better, while still staying loyal to the original art direction. This mod will bring very high quality texture, high quality meshes, and better levels of details to parts of the game that may have been a little lacking. It also manages to not cost you too much from a performance point of view.
Fast Travel Anywhere
I gotta be honest, I have never fast traveled in the game. I like how it looks, and how I feel when I play it, so I like to just travel everywhere the slow way. I am clearly a lunatic though, so you might want to be able to fast travel from anywhere. If you do, then use this mod. No need to go find a sign post, you can just click on your map and teleport there.
Autoloot
While I am perfectly happy to travel strictly by Roach, I can't be wasting time picking up loot from every man and monster who falls to my swords. The Autoloot mod comes with filters, allowing to decide exactly what types of items you want it to pick up. If you are so inclined, it can also just snatch up absolutely everything.
Over 9000
If you want a Witcher who has benefited from some hardcore Crossfit, this is the mod for you. This will allow you to carry pretty much as much loot as you like, and works well with the Autoloot mod, for obvious reasons.
FCR3
FCR3 is what happens when a person who worked on a game makes a mod for that game. Described as an 'immersion and rebalancing' mod, this will bring all kinds of bug fixes, rebalancing, and general fun your way. It does, by design, make the game a little harder, so be aware of that.
Critical Slow Motion Mod
Sometimes, when you chop a guy in half, or send a head flying across the screen, you want to take the time to appreciate it, or contemplate the fleeting time we all get to spend in this life. This mod will nicely slow down those critical kills for you, letting you savor your handiwork.
E3 Dodge System
One of my major issues with The Witcher 3 is the dodging. It is, quite frankly, a bit silly at times. This mod introduces a more stripped down dodge system similar to one seen in an early E3 video. People who have struggled to enjoy combat in the game might find it far more appealing with this mod installed.
Indestructible Items
This mod will completely remove weapon degradation from the game. Weapon degradation is often a silly system in the vast majority of games that use it. It rarely adds fun, and often just comes off as too gamey to not be an immersion breaker. As such, you can use this mod and not feel even a little bit guilty.
Friendly HUD
Friendly HUD will give you all kinds of control over your UI. You can individually modify each HUD module, add 3D markers for quest and NPC tracking, and it makes several improvements to the game menus.
Auto Apply Oils
Ccleaner pro key 2019. This is a very useful mod, because sometimes you just forget about Oils altogether. This will automatically detect the enemies that are around you, and apply the correct oil for the job.
Trademan
Selling old gear is important in the Witcher, but you can often run into a vendor who is running low on cash. Use this mod to ensure that merchants always have enough money to buy what you are selling. If you need quick cash, it will also allow you to change the price of merchant goods, and the price they will pay for your wares.
Sezon Burz Witcher's Gear
A really nice set of gear, based on the book Storm Season. Fits in with the style of the game perfectly, and comes in different level and power options so you can wear it all the way through your playthrough.
Blood and Wine is the last expansion pack for The Witcher 3. It adds a whole new area to the game, and along with it a bunch of new, exotic weapons. There are dozens of steel and silver swords to be found during this new adventure – some of them are mediocre, but some are really amazing, worthy of becoming a valuable part of your arsenal. In this guide, we’re going to show you all new Blood and Wine weapons in The Witcher 3, how to get them, what they look like and their stats. If you need help with a quest, finding a piece of armor or anything else, be sure to check out our Witcher 3 Blood and Wine Walkthrough & Guides.
Aerondight
Aerondight is a legendary sword that has appeard in all Witcher games. Now it has been added to The Witcher 3 as well, and it’s probably the best sword there is. It rewards skill with damage buffs. You’ll have to solve a convoluted series of quests in order to get it.Vitis Relic Steel Sword
Vitis is a relic steel sword you can use after you reach level 53. It has decent damage and gives you increased sign intensity across all signs. You can snatch it from fairytale land, during the main quest. It can be missed, since you can’t revisit this location.Toussaint Steel Sword
Toussaint Steel Sword is one of the best steel swords in the game. You can get it from a treasure hunt side quest in Blood and Wine. You need to be level 48 to use it, and it will provide you with a lot of armor piercing and increased critical hit damage.Gesheft Relic Silver Sword
Gesheft is a silver sword you can craft pretty early on. You need to be level 45 to use it, and it’ll provide you with increased Aard intensity and double critical hit damage. It also has a pretty nice damage output, which makes it a great early weapon for the expansion.Grandmaster Ursine Steel & Silver Swords
The Grandmaster Bear Swords are part of the Bear School Gear. If you’ve played the game before, you probably have some version of this set. If it’s the mastercrafted one, you can upgrade them to grandmaster level in Blood & Wine, making them more deadly than ever before.Grandmaster Feline Swords
If you’ve played as nimble Geralt, you’re most certainly acquainted with Cat School Gear. The swords from the Feline set can receive their final upgrade in Toussaint, which will increase their stats across the board. For detailed information about how to get them, take a look at our Grandmaster Feline Set guide.
Grandmaster Griffin Silver & Steel Swords
Grandmaster Griffin Swords are a part of the Griffin School Gear – they’re favourites of many hybrid build users. If you’ve used them before, you can get them up to grandmaster level now, which will improve them vastly.Grandmaster Wolven Swords
The Grandmaster Wolf Sword pair is also a returning favorite. Wolf School was pretty popular in the vanilla game, and not without reason. They are a great fit for anyone who wants a broad specialization. Now you can craft their best upgrade yet, for the price of a diagram and some materials.Manticore Swords
Part of the Manticore School Gear, these blades are entirely new. They’ve been added in the DLC; they belong to a hitherto unknown witcher school. You won’t be disappointed if you give them a chance, and you’ll most certainly want them in your Witcher Gear collection anyway. The WitcherInvite to friendsInvite to friendsAccept invitationAccept invitationPending invitation..User since {{ user.formattedDateUserJoined }} Friends since {{ user.formattedDateUserFriended }} Unblock chat User blocked This user's wishlist is not public. You can't chat with this user due to their or your privacy settings. You can't chat with this user because you have blocked him.You can't invite this user because you have blocked him.

Um. I was looking the steel sword list http://witcher.wikia.com/wiki/Steel_swords_in_The_Witcher , and I have some doubt choosing the best. Why do you say G'valchir is better than Gwalhir? Though G'valchir does +100% dmg and causes armor pen, Gwalhir has some chance effects (disarm, pain and precise hit).
Finally, meteorite swords (or even rune swords) are really useful? Steel swords cannot be upgraded, and the meteorite sword stats are commonly worse (with the exception of the witcher's steel blade). So, in my case, i'm in Chapter II, and I have Harvall steel sword. Checking the ores, I think I can't get a meteorite sword better than Harvall, am I right?
And about silver swords, if I've read correctly, forging a rune sword http://witcher.wikia.com/wiki/Rune_swords (I play the Enhanced Edition) will REPLACE the base stats of the sword used. So, are they only useful until you get Aerondight?
Well, thank you for reading!

Steel swords: I prefer the critical effect as well. I typically forge a 3 color-meteorite sword until I get Harvall (good job getting it so early, those Wyverns are tough). Then I use Harvall until I get Gwalhir. But I also use FlashMod which nerfs G'valchir's damage bonus, so I usually don't even consider it.
Silver swords: there is no 'base sword stats' with steel or silver forged swords - the swords are forged solely from the runes or meteorite ore. Typically I only have time to forge a single rune sword (I choose 3 color runes) before you get Aerondight. Then there's nothing that surpasses Aerondight.
